I build and operate distributed systems at scale.

By day I work as a staff-level engineer in the Cloud Native space. I maintain a CNCF Sandbox project focused on container image builds on Kubernetes, contributing architecture decisions, code review, and community governance across a globally distributed group of maintainers.

More recently I’ve been working on large-scale infrastructure, rearchitecting continuous delivery models and migrating production workloads onto new infrastructure. Different problem space, same instincts.

I’m based in Europe. My background is Mexican, my day-to-day spans English, German, Spanish, and Russian, sometimes all four before breakfast.

By early mornings and long weekends, I train for Ironman races.

3.8 km swim · 180 km bike · 42 km run

Lately I’ve been building AI-assisted tooling for endurance training, exploring how software can model training load, recovery, and race strategy.
